Pervasive Computing won this years TUT football tournament after beating Civil Engineering in the final played on the Ahvenisjärvi pitch on Thursday.
The TUT football tournament is an annual autumn event where TUT departments compete to be the kings of academic football. On their road to the final, Team Pervasive beat Optoelectronics 1-4 in the quarterfinal and Signalprocessing in the semis 1-3. In the final, lead by captain Timo Kellomäki, Team Pervasive left the opponent with no chances and brought the cup home with a convincing end result 2-6. The final score included goals from Antti Nieminen, Samuel Lahtinen, Sampo Suonsyrjä and a hat trick from Neeraj. Awesome!
This is the first throphy for Pervasive Computing. We are looking forward to defending the title in next year’s tournament.
